After the air trip to
Seattle, ferry to
Bainbridge Island, and
Toyoto to
Port Hadlock, we boarded
Morning Watch to begin
our lovely trip.

The fog
reluctantly lifted barely in time for us to make our getaway to Victoria
before the tide, not so reluctant to ebb, might have grounded us.
Ira made
sure Pepper felt loved and had a comfortable place to enjoy the trip.
Carolyne and I were also
made to feel like really special guests with an offer for us to use
the luxurious master state room as our anniversary present.
Thanks, so much!

VICTORIA, BC
There are no pictures
from the crossing of Juan De Fuca Strait as I was holding the bucket
for Carolyne. We tied up to a public dock in Victoria Harbour and
really enjoyed the weather.
We relaxed
most of the time, sunning on the deck and walking around town.
Sometime
it was cool enough that we went into the cabin to reflect on the day
or plan the next activity.
We did get
out to shop for marine supplies, take in some culture at the Provential
Museum, walk the dog, and have a most delightful dinner at the Il Terrazzo
Ristorante, highly recommended!

Having our way with Victoria,
it was time to head back home. Ira and I left Patty & Carolyne to
ride the ferry, so Carolyne wouldn't have to face the Juan De
Fuca Strait again. You see us leaving on the left. As a result, Ira
and I missed the Sunday morning ferry ballet which you see on the right.

Ira & I returned to
Port Hadlock where we picked up the car & proceeded to Port Angeles
to collect the girls. We all returned to Port Hadlock where we separated
from Patty, who took the car back to Bainbridge Is. while Ira, Carolyne
& I had a wonderful cruse to the same destination, home.
